INTERNATIONAL RECORDING JAZZ AND BLUES ARTIST HABAKAJOINS CAREZMA ELITE

(LOS ANGELES, CA--)Habaka Kay Foster Jacksonisa Jazz, Blues, and Gospel singer, songwriter, international recording artist, educator, producer, and former radio host.She takes her place amongst the esteemed assemblageof uniquely talented artists at Carezma Entertainment, a Los Angeles based, boutique, Entertainment Management Agency.

Jackson, mostly known as “Habaka” is the 2019 BMA (Black Music Awards)Awards Winner of "Best Female Jazz Vocalist Performer"for Las Vegas and is the producer/owner of Husky Tone Records.

Born in the music capitol, Nashville, Tennessee and raised in Bloomfield, Connecticut, Habaka’s earliest musical influences were her parents. Her fatherwas the tenor saxophonist for Blues music great B.B. King and her motherwas a Jazz vocalist and dancer. Habaka developed a love for both genres and performs them equallywell. Possessing a four octave range, and a strong technical background, Habaka is able to differentiate the style and phrasing of each genre enabling her to transition easily from one to the other. She often includes dancing into her performances much tothe delight of her audiences.

Gospel music is also one of her passions.With her rich, warm contralto voice,and, true to her name, she embraces it with the same loving gusto that she gives to Jazz and Blues.

Habaka’s musical journey includes moving toAtlanta, Georgia. From there, she began traveling and performing extensively in Europe. As a vocalist, Habaka has collaborated with manymusic greats, and has shared the stage with other esteemed artists that include, but, is not limited to Bo Diddley, Wilson Pickett, Sandra Hall, Ana Popovic, and the legendary B. B. King, just to name a few.

Habaka has performed on the greatest stages, theaters, festivals, and churches in Europe. She has performed before audiences of thousands, including members of nobility, and hasbeen a headliningartist on some of the most renownedBlues stagesin the world.

Her latest CD release entitled“HERITAGE BLUE”, a collection of Blues and Jazz standards peppered with a few originalsunder Husky Tone Records is a very personal project for her because she produced it, and dedicated the project to her musical family heritage. When Habaka is not on tour, you can see her onstage at some of the best Jazz, and Blues Clubs in Las Vegas.
